 Retaining the spirit of the original brand and adding a NZ focus, we took the roller coaster trolley (bottom left - a very nicely detailed rail-bound roller coaster riding a film roll track) off the tracks, gave it wings and rocket engine and had it flying around the islands of New Zealand.  The new logo had to be more flexible for current uses in digital space as well as print. So we made it stylistically less fussy and flattened it into a form that can be used in single or 2 colours. The old logo, being entirely bitmap dependent only worked in 4 colour or grey scale and could only survive a narrow range of reduction or enlargement. The new one has no such restraints. Behold, the new "untethered" Joyride Films logo.
